Fraud charges for Barclays; Pound slumps; Lockheed Martin deals
Tuesday, 20 June 2017 1. Barclays fraud charges: British prosecutors filed criminal charges against Barclays and four of its former executives Tuesday over investments from Qatar that helped save the bank during the financial crisis.
Barclays and four former senior executives are criminally charged in a high-profile UK investigation into undisclosed payments to Qatari investors during a 12 billion pound ($15.4 billion) emergency fund raising in 2008. Ivor Bennett reports.
