Britain has downgraded its terrorism threat level to severe from critical, two days after a bombing in a London Underground train injured 30 people.

Prime Minister Theresa May announces that JTAC has raised the UK terror threat level from severe to critical following today's explosion in Parsons Green Tube station. Mrs May said this would mean a greater armed presence in public spaces, and more military support provided to police.
