News video: At Least 24 Killed By Kenyan Police In Post-Election ViolenceOpposition anger erupted in the slums of Kenya Saturday, when Kenya's main monitoring group backed the official result of Tuesday's re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta. Violence broke out in the western city of Kisumu and slums ringing the capital, leading to two deaths. In Nairobi, a witness said a young girl was shot dead by police firing "sporadic shots" at protesters in the run-down neighborhood of Mathare, where residents are loyal to opposition leader Raila Odinga. According to Reuters, the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights said 24 people had been shot dead by police since election day. Top Odinga lieutenant Johnson Muthama said police had been packing corpses into body bags and dumping them. His comments are likely to make the tensions worse, that started with Friday night's official announcement that Kenyatta had won, getting just over 54 percent of votes.
