Drew Pavlou: Australian Activist of the University of Queensland
Drew Pavlou is an Australian philosophy student studying at the University of Queensland and a member of the University of Queensland Senate. Pavlou became famous as an organiser of demonstrations in support of pro-democracy demonstrators in Hong Kong. He is presently suspended from the university, over allegations of bullying and harassment of university staff and students. Pavlou claims that the allegations are linked to his activism over what he claims are the university's close ties to the Chinese government.
