Nyunggai Warren Stephen Mundine is an Australian Aboriginal and the former national president of the Australian Labor Party (ALP). He quit the ALP in 2012 and was appointed chairman of the Australian government's Indigenous Advisory Council by the then prime minister, Liberal Tony Abbott. On 22 January 2019 the prime minister, Scott Morrison, announced that the former Labor national president would run for the marginal seat of Gilmore for the Liberal Party.
