There's something quintessentially Parisian about *UTO*.
A duo in love, Emile and Neysa live together at Emile’s grand-mother house where nothing changed since the 70s, this kind of Gallic vision of Wes Anderson bohemia.
Drifting off to sleep as Aphex Twin and Portishead play on the stereo, they wake up and craft bejewelled dream pop that feels like a left of centre Beach House.
New EP 'The Night’s Due' lands on March 8th via Paris-based label Pain Surprises, and we're able to offer a preview.
'Synthesise' is a drifting, semi-surreal piece of melody, almost reminiscent of Broadcast but given a French twist.
UTO explain: "'Synthesise' is about the chaotic mess/bazaar in out heads that incessantly spins just like the moon and the sun. It’s a Groundhog Day where emotions devour and consume the sensitive."
Tune in now.

We're sunny and seasonal for another day with mid to upper 90s in the valley, just like yesterday, which is right on track for average. A bit of a westerly breeze keeps our moderate valley air quality..
