Majority of Americans support National Guard on border: Reuters/Ipsos poll(Reuters) - A majority of Americans think President Donald Trump’s plan to send National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border will be effective in combating illegal immigration in the short term, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll from April 15-19.
