Privacy advocates criticize Amazon "Rekognition"

Amazon rejected two proposals at its annual shareholders meeting that would regulate its "Rekognition" software. The meeting came as lawmakers in Washington blasted facial recognition technology for putting putting privacy and civil rights at risk.
