Another week has gone by - and where are we now? There’s always something weird and wonderful going on in the world - and we’re here to make sure you get a nice digest of all of the most important and intriguing moments that we’ve been privy to this past seven days. Here’s our pick of what’s been going on!

Trump and the Migrant Children
Another week, it seems, another scandal for Donald Trump - as the policy to remove children from their parents at the border appears to have been relaxed, after a week of controversy. It’s a policy which has been met by outcry across the world, and which has been marked by a particularly striking TIME Magazine cover.

Melania Trump and Her Odd Choice of Jacket
Following ongoing controversy regarding Trump and the migrant crisis, US First Lady Melania attended a migrant child detention center - while wearing a jacket that clearly reads ‘I really don’t care do u?’ on the reverse. The move has been criticized heavily - as it seems to be giving across a very negative message - though her President husband has tweeted to suggest the jacket was referring to how much she doesn’t care about ‘Fake News Media’.

Roseanne Without Roseanne
In a move which some rumored could happen - but many thought never actually would - ABC appear to have decided to revive their hit comedy ‘Roseanne’ as ‘The Conners’, following the decision to axe the series after star Roseanne Barr made a number of ill-advised tweets earlier this summer. The series will reportedly continue as the family adjusts to a big change - and will reportedly feature John Goodman and Sara Gilbert among the returning cast.

The World Cup Gets Underway
There’s been some big shocks in the soccer action over in Russia for the 2018 World Cup - as Argentina fail to clinch a win from their first two games and as Germany fall to always-underdogs Mexico, it seems that this year’s tournament really could be anybody’s - though those in the betting circles are still suggesting Belgium may clinch the trophy. The group stages continue!
