Argentina's president-elect Fernandez says will meet, work with Macri
Monday, 28 October 2019 Argentina's president-elect Alberto Fernandez said that he would meet with outgoing leader Mauricio Macri to discuss the political transition after the center-left Peronist won a decisive victory in a general election on Sunday.
Argentina's conservative president Mauricio Macri is out after the Peronists declared victory on Sunday. Alberto Fernandez took around 48% of the vote, meaning he won the election outright. Joe Davies reports.
