Giuliani: President Trump Doesn’t Have To Comply With A Robert Mueller Subpoena
President Donald Trump’s new attorney Rudy Giuliani said he can’t rule out the possibility of Trump not complying with a Mueller subpoena.
While at the same time suggested Michael Cohen could have paid other women on behalf of Trump.????Giuliani said on ABC’s “This Week” Trump could take use his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination in the Russia investigation.????When asked if Trump would comply if Robert Mueller subpoenaed him, Giuliani said:????SOT??“We don’t have to, he’s the president of the United States.
We can assert the same privileges other presidents have.”????When asked whether he is confident that Trump will not invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, Giuliani said: ????SOT??“How can I be confident in that?”????When talking about the possibility of Trump meeting with Mueller, the former New York mayor said he wasn’t sure he would let that happen.????SOT??Not after the way they acted, I came into this case with the desire to do that and they just keep convincing me not to do that.????Lastly Newsweek reports Giuliani added that Cohen’s use of $1.1 million from the President and loans in the last 90 days could have potentially been channeled to other mistresses of the president.??
