Hundreds of people gather to remember the life of 8 year old sabrina stauffenberg.
Stauffenberg was found dead behind a building on the south side of olney last wednesday.
44news reporter chelsea koerbler spoke with friends of the young girl at a candlelight vigil earlier this evening.
Eyes filled with tears.
Hearts filled with pain.
A community in mourning remembers the life of a young girl gone too soon.

She would be playing down on the floor at my house and all of a sudden she would start singing jesus loves me."
Those closest to her say --- she was a girl who never met a stranger and loved everyone.
That love clearly leaving a mark on hundreds of people who showed up for a candlelight vigil in her honor.

I didn't know this small nit community would gather so many."
On wednesday, the 23rd sarbina was outside her home waiting for her church bus to pick her up.
She never made it on that bus and her family reported her missing.
Hours later her body was found behind a building on the south side of olney.
Days later 53-year-old glenn ramey was arrested.
In documents released by the state's attorney -- it said ramey suffocated stauffenberg.
"i was just in shock.
We were all just totally out of shock.
Denial, anger, i didn't cry until the next day until it hit me.
" online many rumors swirling -- but friends close to the family say this could have happened to anyone's child.

You let her on the front porch, you go out, she's eight.
Small town you don't expect anything tragic to happen and so there's no blame there but this guy took advantage of that situation and did something very horrible."
