Showdown! Kavanaugh's Accuser Agrees to Testify on Sex Assault Claims
Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault has agreed to testify against him.????Ford’s lawyers wrote in an email that she will provide firsthand knowledge of Kavanaugh’s alleged sexual misconduct.????The email then went on to criticize the Senate Judiciary committee saying, "We are disappointed with the leaks and the bullying that have tainted the process, we are hopeful that we can reach agreement on details."????Security is also a major concern as Ford's lawyers says her family has received death threats since the accusation was made.????Ford’s husband saying they even considered moving to another country when it seemed all but imminent he’d be nominated.????Russell Ford recalling, his wife’s creeping dread began after Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement earlier this year.
He said to The Washington Post, “She was like, ‘I can’t deal with this.
If he becomes the nominee, then I’m moving to another country.
I cannot live in this country if he’s in the Supreme Court.’” He then adds, “she wanted out.”????Kavanaugh was on a 2016 list of possible replacements to Justice Antonin Scalia, and Dr. Ford’s husband says his wife was relieved when President Trump picked Neil Gorsuch.????He said, “Her mindset was, ‘I’ve got this terrible secret ... What am I going to do with this secret?’”????That alleged terrible secret, now out in the open.
