UK May Be Headed For No-Deal Brexit

CNN reports the UK and European Union may be headed for a "no deal" UK exit from the EU.

British Prime Minister Theresa May says she will deliver on the deal that was voted for.

The roadblock to agreeing on a deal is the so-called "insurance deal" or backstop, to keep the border between Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic open for trade.

A vote of no-confidence Friday revealed one third of her MPs don't support her Brexit plan.

Ireland's Prime Minister Leo Varadkar said there is "a special obligation on[May's government] now to come up with the solutions." The options May is left with are to exit with no deal or to hold a second referendum, with no Brexit as one of the options.
