NBA Commissioner Supports Enes Kanter Staying Home
According to Business Insider, the NBA commissioner supports Enes Kanter's decision to stay home, and avoid a team trip to London.
Commissioner Adam Silver made his comments a day after a Turkish prosecutor charges Kanter in Istanbul, seeking his extradition to Turkey.
Kanter is currently a center for the New York Knicks, who are scheduled to play the Washington Wizards in London this month.
Kanter was been accused by Turkish authorities of being in a terrorist organization for supporting Fethullah Gulen.
But Kanter was simply been an outspoken supporter of the exiled Turkish cleric, but he has also been an outspoken critic of the Turkish president.
