Jack Osbourne Says Ozzy's Health Is On The Mend
Ozzy Osbourne's health appears to be improving in the wake of his recent hospitalization, according to his son, Jack.
On Thursday, Jack Osbourne shared a new selfie on Instagram, with a caption about how he was headed to visit his dad at the hospital.
In the caption, Jack specifies that Ozzy is "doing much better", and proceeds to thank the family's fans for all of their messages.
Website comicbook.com reports that Jack took to social media with amessage sharing,
All is well.
Now I’m off to see dad.
He’s doing much better.
Thanks for all your messages)
Ozzy's hospitalization, which is reportedly tied to complications from the flu, was first confirmed on Wednesday.
This wasn't the first time that the particular illness had gotten on the radar of Ozzy fans, as he postponed the entire European leg of his No More Tours II tour last week due to those same medical problems.
“After seeing his physician again, OSBOURNE has been diagnosed with a severe upper-respiratory infection which the doctor feels could develop into pneumonia given the physicality of the live performances and an extensive travel schedule throughout Europe in harsh winter conditions,” the Facebook post about the cancellation explained.
“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour," Osbourne said in the post.
"It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to shit.
First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis.
I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down.
However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed.
It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September.
Again, I apologize to everyone.
Love you all, Ozzy.”
