1,112 To Be Arrested In Turkey's Latest Crackdown On Links To Cleric Gulen

According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, Turkey state media announced that the government had launched one of its largest operations against alleged supporters of a US-based Muslim cleric accused of leading an attempted coup in 2016, ordering the arrest of 1,112 people.

Two years after rogue soldiers used warplanes, helicopters and tanks in a bid to seize power, the operations reportedly shows that authorities have not let up on their crackdown.
