Judge Delays Michael Cohen's Prison Surrender Date
A federal judge has granted President Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen an extension on when he has to report for prison.
On Wednesday, the judge agreed to push back the start of Cohen's prison stint for 60 days while he recovers from shoulder surgery.
Cohen was originally supposed to begin his three-year prison sentence on March 6.
Last year, he pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about a real estate project to build a Trump Tower in Russia and multiple other financial crimes. Cohen postponed his hearing before the Senate intelligence committee last week for similar reasons.
But he is scheduled to testify before the House intelligence committee in a closed-door session on Feb.
