President Donald Trump seemingly got a bump in approval rating after his State of the Union speech on February 5th.

The latest Hill-HarrisX poll shows that the numbers have slightly dropped back down.

((VO-Trump Reuters))??A new poll shows that the President is losing steam after his State of the Union address.????((VO-Trump Reuters))??The Hill-HarrisX poll found that Trump’s approval rating dropped two points below the bump he seemingly got from his address to the nation on February 5th.????((VO-Voters))??45 percent of voters contacted said they approve of the way the President has been carrying out his official duties, which is down from 47 percent a few weeks ago.????((VO-Trump Reuters))??55 percent say they disapprove of President Trump’s job performance.

That number is up two points from the previous survey.????((VO-Young People Walking Shot/Older people))??Young voters were harsh critics with only 35 percent of those ages 18 to 34 approving of his job performance.

However, 53 percent of people ages 35 through 49 gave the president a positive rating.????((VO-Dem/Republican Imagery))??There was a major split between party lines, with 79 percent of Republicans saying the approve of the president’s job performance, while 82 percent of democrats disapproved.????((VO-Trump Reuters))??CNN notes that the Democrats introduced a resolution Friday to block President Trump’s effort to build a wall on the southern border using emergency powers.????
