Mark Harris Bows Out Of North Carolina Election
According to Reuters, Mark Harris will not run again for the House of Representatives after a new election was ordered in North Carolina.
Harris ran as a Republican candidate for North Carolina.
He cited health concerns as his reason for not seeking to run for the seat again.
Harris was in the lead by 906 votes in the Nov.
6 election, but state officials refused to certify him as the winner over Democrat Dan McCready because of irregularities in the vote count.
