Facebook Lost 15 Million Users in the US Since 2017 A new study by Edison Research claims that Facebook is seriously bleeding American users.

Although Facebook's quarterly earnings report shows a growth in users, this report is global.

Larry Rosin, Edison president, via Mashable The social media giant is especially losing users in the key 12 to 34-year-old demographic.

On the plus side, Facebook is still gaining users who are 55 and up.

Most users who leave Facebook are flocking to Instagram, which is owned by Facebook.
