Dems: Trump's 2020 Budget 'Untethered From Reality'

President Donald Trump called on Monday for spending more U.S. taxpayer money on the military and a U.S.-Mexico border wall.

Reuters reports he also wants to overhaul social safety-net programs. However, the budget doesn't address reducing the federal deficit or the national debt, previously critical issues for Trump’s fellow Republicans.

Like past Trump budget proposals, the plan is likely to die in Congress but live on in Trump's 2020 re-election campaign.
