Wall Street Uncertain As US China Trade Talks Linger
According to Reuters, Wall Street was uncertain at Thursday's opening bell due to the lingering doubts surrounding trade talks between the United States and China.
Sources report that a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping will not occur this month and is more likely to happen in April at the earliest.
Andre Bakhos, managing director at New Vines Capital LLC in Bernardsville, New Jersey told reporters; “The situation with trade is causing indigestion for investors early on.
The deeper concern that is starting to creep up is that there is no sense of urgency at this point".
A day earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said he was not in a hurry to complete a trade deal with China.
