Kim Kardashian Supports End of California Death Penalty California Governor Gavin Newsom recently signed an executive order suspending the death penalty in California.

As a result, 737 inmates currently on death row will not be executed.

Kardashian, an avid supporter of prison reform, took to Instagram in support of the decision.

She has since visited many women's prisons in California, advocating for justice.

Most recently, the reality star pledged to pay rent for inmate Matthew Charles, who was released under the First Step Act, for the next five years.

According to 'The New York Times,' national support of the death penalty continues to decline.
