LEICESTER OFFICIALS AND PLAYERS WALKING TOWARDS FUNERAL PAVILION STORY: Members of Leicester City Football Club arrived in Bangkok on Wednesday (March 20) evening to attend the funeral of their late-chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, a day ahead of the latter's cremation ceremony.
Vichai was one of five people who died in a tragic helicopter crash after a Leicester home game in October.
Among those who attended the prayer ceremony on Wednesday were team manager Brendan Rodgers, striker Jamie Vardy, club captain Wes Morgan, Shinji Okazaki, Danny Simpson, Christian Fuchs, and Kelechi Iheanacho.
A royal cremation bestowed by the Thai King for Vichai will be held on Thursday (March 21).
Thailand's kings have traditionally granted such honours at the funerals of high-ranking state officials or citizens who had devoted their lives to the good of the country.
