People’s Vote supporters boo as they walk past Downing Street
Organisers of the People’s Vote campaign for a second referendum on the UK’s exit from the European Union have claimed one million people marched today in central London.
The march saw demonstrators, largely pro-Remain, take to the streets of London on Saturday afternoon (March 23rd) to demand a vote on the Brexit deal.
Pro-Brexit counter-protesters also attended the march, who are opposed to a second referendum.
Supporters of the so-called People’s Vote booed as they walked past Downing Street, home to Prime Minister Theresa May.
