Former Trump Campaign Aide Papadopoulos Claims He Was Pressured Into Cutting A Deal
Donald Trump’s campaign aide George Papadopoulos disclaims his guilty plea.
Papadopoulos was the first aide charged in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
According to Reuters, he said in a book that he was unfairly pressured into cutting a deal.
In October 2017 Papadopoulos pleaded guilty about lying to FBI agents.
He allegedly lied about his communications with a Maltese professor with ties to Russian government officials.
