Brexiteer Rees-Mogg says he will back PM May's deal if DUP do

ROUGH CUT.

NO REPORTER NARRATION.

Brexit-supporting Conservative lawmaker Jacob Rees-Mogg said on Wednesday (March 27) that he would back British Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal if it was supported by the Democratic Unionist Party that props-up May's government.

His conditional backing for May's twice-defeated deal mirrored comments he made in the Daily Mail newspaper.

The front page headline read: "Mogg: Sorry, I will back May's deal." Later on Wednesday, lawmakers will wrest control of the Brexit process from the government on in order to try to find a majority for an alternative way forward that could break the parliamentary deadlock.

They will hold so-called indicative votes on a variety of possible Brexit outcomes.
