According to a report by SFGate, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg defended the company's livestreaming service following a wave of criticism after it was used in the mass-shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand, which left 50 people dead.

On Thursday, in an appearance on "Good Morning America" Zuckerberg said, “Most people are livestreaming, you know, a birthday party or hanging out with friends when they can’t be together.
