State Department Names 16 Involved in Jamal Khashoggi Murder, Bans Them from U.S. Travel
The U.S. State Department named 16 individuals they believe had roles in the murder of writer Jamal Khashoggi.????The Washington Post journalist was killed at a Saudi Arabia consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.????In his reporting, the columnist was critical of the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
????U.S. intelligence has already concluded that the Saudi Crown was likely involved in Khashoggi’s death.????The latest designation by the State Department means the 16 individuals and their immediate family are banned from entering the U.S.????The Associated Press reports that two of the individuals made up Prince Mohammed’s travel entourage for foreign trips.????Earlier this month, the Washington Post reported that the Saudi crown is trying to buy the silence of Khashoggi’s children…????...with large monthly payouts and million dollar homes in the Saudi Kingdom being offered to the slain journalist’s family.????Despite the findings of U.S. intelligence, the Trump administration has not blamed or taken any action against the Saudi crown for Khashoggi’s murder.
