The US Won't Send Ships To China's 70th Anniversary Celebration

Business Insider reports the US Navy has decided it will not send warships to participate in China's navy celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army Navy.

More than 60 countries, including Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines, are expected to send naval delegations to attend.

The US will only send a defense attaché from the US embassy in Beijing.

It has participated in China's anniversary celebration in the past.
