Britain's Duke and Duchess of Sussex will keep details surrounding the arrival of their first child private, CNN reports.

A royal expert said the announcement is a conscious decision by the couple to "do things their own way." The announcement means that Meghan isn't expected to appear for a photo call outside the Lindo Wing.

Both Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge had photos taken there with their newborns only hours after giving birth.
