Funeral Held at Mosque For Victim of St Sebastian's Church Bombing as Sri Lanka Observes National Day of Mourning

A young victim of the St Sebastian’s Church bombing, in Negombo, Sri Lanka, was commemorated at a funeral service held in one of the city’s mosques, on April 22, as seen in this video.

Other victims of the April 21 attack on St Sebastian’s Church were laid to rest in the church’s cemetery during a mass-funeral on April 23, local media reported President Maithripala Sirisena declared Tuesday a national day of mourning in honor of the more than 300 people killed and 500 people injured in the bombings at churches and hotels across the country.

Other images show memorials on the streets and a number of houses in the Negombo region in mourning.
