Onalaska man reportedly stabbed by adult son

An Onalaska man made his initial appearance in La Crosse County Court today following a stabbing incident over the weekend.

A young onalaska man could spend more than a decade in prison after police say he stabbed his father.

18-year-old kole reisner is accused of attacking his father early saturday morning.

The father had a pair of stab wounds when officers arrived... one to his stomach and another on his lower back.

According to the la crosse police department... reisner's father says he was asked for money.

Reisner then stabbed his dad when he said no.

Both his father and his aunt... who all live together... say reisner has been stealing money for a while and might be doing drugs.

Reisner claims he confronted his father about other issues... which caused a fight between the two and ended in the stabbing.

His bond was set at 2- thousand dollars
