Wtva's nicole dantzler joins us live to tell us more about the case.
Tony rook, circuit court clerk, tells me tomas bradford was ordered to serve thirty years at the mississippi department of corrections for an armed robbery and shooting death of a child in 2016.
He says bradford was with a group of people who attempted to rob someone at camelot apartments and the victim shot and killed the robber in self defense.
Police arrested bradford and another teenager in connection to the shooting and was charged with armed robbery.
He later bonded out.
Here you can see bradford who was sixteen at the time being escorted by deputies in 2017 after police arrested and charged him with the murder of a twenty year old at the brookeville gardens apartments.
His bond was revoked because of his previous charges in 2016.
Bradford was initially charged with armed robbery and murder, but he plead guilty to the robbery charges and the lesser charge of manslaughter for the 2016 case.
Bradford was sentenced on monday and will serve ten years for armed robbery and 10 years for manslaughter.
