Prince William Meets Christchurch Shooting Survivors, Emergency Workers, During Anzac Day Visit
The Duke of Cambridge met survivors of the Christchurch terrorist attack, as well as emergency workers who responded to the shooting, during an Anzac Day visit to New Zealand on April 25.
Prince William shared an exchange with five-year-old Alen Alsati in the Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, who asked him if he had a daughter and enquired as to her name.
William then travelled to Christchurch, where he told emergency workers that they “did an incredible job on a very bad day”.
The Duke also met members of Christchurch’s muslim community and thanked them for their leadership.
