Business Insider reports that the Boeing Company has lost $1 billion this year due to the ongoing crisis with its 737 Max aircraft.

The company announced on Wednesday that it cannot predict how much the financial impact will be following two crashes that claimed the lives of 346 people.

The 737 Max planes have been grounded around the world and have seen a dip in production of the planes, since the March 10th crash of Ethiopian airlines.
