Royal Etiquette Tips For American Presidents

If The Crown is to be believed, when meeting the Queen, even President Kennedy and Jackie made missteps.????Then it can be tricky for anyone.

President Trump  and Melania were invited by the Queen for a state visit to Great Britain and that means there are royal etiquette rules to follow.????Her title is Her Majesty, Not Her Royal Majesty.????Whoops, well she probably didn’t read the press release anyway.????Grant Harrold, also known as The Royal Butler has some other tips: “Never offer your hand to the Queen for a handshake unless she offers her hand first,”????Don’t walk ahead of The Queen.

Harrold said, quote: 'As a head of state you would be expected to walk alongside the Queen but never in front.”????The good news is that  even though he made a few missteps on his first visit, the Queen invited him back so I’d guess she is the forgiving sort when it comes to American Presidents.
