Red wolves soccer club unveils major development plans with their new stadium.
They are investing 125 million dollars in this mixed use project.

Big changes are coming to east ridge.
The owner of the chattanooga red wolves soccer club announced they will build a state of the art stadium with mixed use development in a 125 million dollar investment for the city.
Bob martino/ chattanooga red wolves owner "it's a mixed use project development here in east ridge that will include our professional soccer stadium and give the players and coach a home that they can enjoy and spend time at on and off the field."
The 100 acre property is off i-75 in the city limits of east ridge and chattanooga.
In addition to the stadium, the plan includes 400 apartment units, 375 hotel rooms and 475 thousand square feet of commercial space.

It is the most we have ever seen this is the biggest development we've ever seen.
This is the biggest development the city of east ridge has seen in its history."
The east ridge mayor says this will be a big attraction.
"it is going to draw a lot of attention from fans, supporers, businesses and i think it is going to provide a halo affect here.
It is going to draw other businesses in and attract other things to come to the city.
It is definitely a game changer."
The stadium and surrounding development is expected to create 12 hundred new jobs.
"you think about the stadium and that is a tremendous job source, but also having restaurants, retail, management of properties, so many other jobs.
It will be a tremendous draw for workforce."

The project is expected to take three to five years.
