Elizabeth Warren Proposes Ways To Cancel And Prevent Student Debt

Democratic 2020 presidential candidate Sen.

Elizabeth Warren wants to eliminate student-loan debt.

According to Business Insider, she proposed erasing current student debt and providing free public college.

During the last quarter of 2018, student debt has risen to $1.57 trillion.

In 2017, the average amount of debt held by a graduate was $28,500.

One way Warren wants to change that is by cancelling $50,000 of debt for those making less than $100,000 per year.
