French Police Hit With Tear Gas To Prevent Them From Reaching Parliament Building

According to a report by Reuters, in the 25th consecutive weekend of protests, French police fired tear gas to push back protesters who tried to march toward the European Parliament building in the eastern city of Strasbourg.

The 'yellow-vest' protesters took to the streets across France two days after President Emmanuel Macron outlined policy proposals including tax cuts worth around 5 billion-euros in response to the protests.
