Turkey Condemns 'Coup' Attempt In Venezuela
Reuters reports Turkey’s government defended Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Tuesday, condemning opposition calls in the South American country for a military uprising against him.
Opposition leader Juan Guaido urged the military on Tuesday to oust Maduro.
Turkey, along with China and Russia, have vocally supported Maduro since Guaido declared himself interim president of Venezuela in January.
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan condemned what he said was a coup attempt.
