Tesla Will Raise $2 Billion In Capital

According to Reuters, Tesla will raise another $2 billion in capital.

Tesla plans to raise that capital by issuing debt and convertible shares.

The electric car company will offer $650 million in new shares, while putting up $1.35 billion in debt.

The terms will allow underwriters to buy an additional 15-percent of each offering, so Tesla could potentially raise $2.3 billion from the proceeds.

The announcement also eased investor concerns on Wall Street.
