Droughts as Early as 1900 Provide Possible Link to Man-Made Climate Change
A new study says that humans may have influence climate change caused by droughts as far back as 1900.????The study published in the journal nature took a look at tree rings and data on the climate going back 900 years.
????And researchers found that there was a rise in greenhouse gases following the industrial revolution...????Which seems to have created a spike in droughts between 1900 and 1949 but fell from 1950 to 1975 when more aerosols were used.
????However, they saw drought levels rise again since 1981 due to government crackdowns in aerosols and a rise in greenhouse gas emissions.
????Researchers say that they expect the trend to continue and say we “should see unprecedented drying soon, in a lot of places.” ????Adding that it is “bad news” for regions like California and Australia who have recently faced devastating droughts.
