According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, Sri Lanka President said that security forces would 'eradicate terrorism' following devastating suicide attacks on Easter Sunday and restore stability before a presidential election due by the year's end.

Sirisena also reportedly said that he believed Islamic State was responsible for the April 21st attacks, which targeted churches and luxury hotels, killing over 250 people.
