Pompeo warns U.S. will not tolerate Russian interference in the 2020 election

According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that Washington would not tolerate any Russian interference in the upcoming 2020 US presidential election.

Following talks with Lavrov in the Black Sea resort town of Sochi, Pompeo reportedly told a news conference that he made it clear there could be no repeat of election interference of the kind Washington accuses Moscow of undertaking in the 2016 election.
