Scott Morrison Makes Final Election Pitch From Tasmania

Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his wife, Jenny, made a final election pitch from Tasmania on the morning of the federal election, Saturday, May 18.

Morrison claimed he was the only Prime Minister to visit Tasmania on polling day since the 1930s, and was dropping in on booths in Bass and Braddon to support candidates Bridget Archer and Gavin Pearce.

The Australian reported on Friday, May 17, that the two Tasmanian seats were key to the election result.

Morrison is expected to fly back to Sydney, his home town, later on Saturday.
