Amash, who represents Michigan, made his thoughts known in a long thread on Twitter.

In it, he says he came to his decision after reading all of the special counsel's report.

He also says the American public was intentionally led astray about it by Attorney General Bill Barr.

President Donald Trump, via Twitter On issues concerning the Trump-Russia investigation, Amash has been known to break from GOP party lines.

The libertarian is also in the House Freedom Caucus, whose members are some of Trump's biggest defenders on Capitol Hill.
