May Offers Parliament Second Referendum Vote
According to CNN, British Prime Minister Theresa May pledged to give parliament a second referendum vote, if they support her Brexit deal.
The offer has been seen as a last-ditch effort for PM May to finalize the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union.
But it is among a growing number of concessions she has given lawmakers in parliament to garner support for the Withdrawal Agreement Bill.
May's latest concessions include pledges on workers' rights, environmental provisions, and a temporary customs arrangement with the EU.
The withdrawal agreement has been scheduled for a vote in the House of Commons during the first week of June, which will mark the fourth vote by parliament on PM May's Brexit deal.
