Formula One Champ Niki Lauda Has Died
According to CNN, Niki Lauda has died at the age of 70.
The Austrian race car driver was a three-time world champion in Formula One.
Lauda made his Formula One debut at the 1971 Austrian Grand Prix.
He was signed to Ferrari two years later, and claimed his first world title in 1975.
But in the 1976 season, Lauda crashed at the German Grand Prix on the Nurburgring circuit.
Although he was pulled from the flaming wreck, he suffered severe burns and lung damage.
